The iPad is almost deceptively easy to use. Simply tap the screen, add an app and get things rolling, you might think.right? This is true, for the most part, but you can turbocharge your iPad experience if you take the time to read some simple tips.

You can now create folders with your iPad to store valuable information. Tap an app and hold the icon until it jiggles. Then, drag the app onto a second app and let go. This will create a folder with both apps. You can change the name to better describe the apps within.

Remote servers can be accessed with VPN networks. To do this, go to Settings and choose the “Activate VPN” under the network tab. As will all VPNs, you’ll need a username and address. Speak with a member of the network administration team to assist if you cannot do this.

The current applications should be something that you pay attention to at all times. The apps may be running while you are doing other things. To take a look at all running apps, double-click the Home button. The currently running apps will appear on a bar. This will be located at the bottom. Click the home button once or do a downward one finger swipe to close the bar.

You don’t have to use the film roll icon to look at pictures. Try using one finger for swiping to the right to get to your video or photo. To look at your previous pictures, swipe your finger to the left.
